Poverty is still a reality for millions of people around the globe. Aid doesn't always work and although 'fair trade' schemes help, it is not enough. We believe in empowering rural communities into mini-enterprises to give them a good chance to kick the aid-dependency cycle.
We work with communities across Latin America, Brazil and Peru' in particular. One of our aims is to commercialise their products whilst working with them in re-investing the profit into the communities. We tend to work with Non-governmental organisations (NGOs), but we also take on projects run by individuals within the communities.
Our dream is to be a commercial enterprise with a social focus that delivers tangible results at grass-root level. And yes, we also care passionately about the environment (including the pumas!).
